Released in 1991, Spiderland is the second and final album by SLINT. Considered one of the founding elements of post-rock, the album has become a cult classic. Recorded in four days in 1990, Spiderland also marks the breakup of SLINT, with the members going on to pursue various projects. David Pajo nonetheless sent the record to the label Touch and Go, which released it the following year quietly but received with enthusiastic critical acclaim. Touch and Go is now reissuing the album in a remastered version in two editions: CD + DVD and 180g vinyl + DVD. The CD + DVD edition includes: - The remastered album by Bob Weston from the original recordings, on CD - "Breadcrumb Trail," a 90-minute documentary about the recording of the album and its impact - A download code for 14 bonus tracks and demos selected by SLINT - A heavy weight "tip-on" gatefold packaging with a 20-page booklet.
