Silversun Pickups are on point for the times with their seventh studio album, Tenterhooks is a tense, emotionally charged, and uncompromising record, a collection of ten tracks in sync with its era, while remaining as timeless as the rest of their discography. "We wanted to make a tight album that fits on a single vinyl with five songs per side," explains Aubert. "For me, it's an impatient, anxious, and more aggressive album. We started recording it at a time when the world was changing again. You inevitably wonder: Where are we heading? Even if we don't necessarily write directly about it."
