Silversun Pickups are of the moment with their seventh studio album, *Tenterhooks*. It's a taut, emotionally charged, and uncompromising record, a collection of ten tracks that is in tune with its time, while remaining as timeless as the rest of their discography. “We wanted to make a concise album that would fit on a single vinyl with five songs per side,” explains Aubert. “For me, it’s an impatient, anxious, and more aggressive album. We started recording it at a time when the world was changing again. You inevitably ask yourself: Where are we headed? Even if we don’t necessarily write directly about that.”
