Originally scheduled for release on 08/20 For their sixth album, Californian band Shannon & The Clams, famous for their energetic blend of garage rock, doo-wop and surf rock, returned to record at Dan Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound studios. The Black Keys frontman also plays on the record. On 'Year Of The Spider', singer-bassist Shannon Shaw hands over the microphone for the first time to guitarist Cody Blanchard on half of the album's tracks.
