« The Game » is the fourth album by the punk band Sham 69, released in 1980. That year, Sham had just split up before reforming a few months later, with the arrival of drummer Mark Goldstein for this comeback. « The Game » marked the beginning of the 80s as a warning against the decade to come, synonymous with greed and shortsightedness. A message, of course, that couldn't be more accurate. The album recalls their early recordings but benefits from a much more polished production. An album largely underestimated at its release, « The Game » is available in a limited edition numbered to 750 copies on translucent red vinyl.
