Squeeze

Description

SASAMI releases her new album, Squeeze, on Domino. A classically trained writer, producer and composer, SASAMI is an influential figure on the American indie rock scene. A multi-instrumentalist, she has contributed to several studio albums (Curtis Harding, Hand Habits), played in several bands (Cherry Glazerr, Dirt Dress) and composed film scores. Co-produced with Ty Segall, SASAMI’s upcoming album, Squeeze, blends the power of nu metal, the tenderness of country-pop and folk, as well as the romanticism of classical music. Other contributors include Dirk Verbeuren of Megadeth and Andrew Thomas Huang (Björk, FKA Twigs), who designed the album artwork. Built in the form of an opera, the different “movements” of Squeeze take the listener on an emotional, captivating and sensational journey.
