Foxbase Alpha

Description

Even though it’s incredible to think that the first version of FoxBase Alpha is already 25 years old, since it still sounds so fresh and remains just as moving, SAINT ETIENNE is offering a reissue of its cult album for next November. This deluxe reissue, enhanced with 14 tracks and a sumptuous booklet, will allow longtime fans to properly celebrate the quarter-century of an album with 1960s house and pop sounds. Catchy and still relevant, the tracks are the work of Bob Stanley and Pete Wiggs, two former music journalists who released a timeless album as early as 1991! It’s no coincidence that FoxBase Alpha is among the 1001 albums you must have listened to in your lifetime; a must-listen! Included in the boxset: - The original album in remastered version, 2LP format - A bonus album including 10 tracks recorded during the same period, previously unreleased on vinyl - A sumptuous 32-page booklet featuring exclusive photos of the band - A 7'' featuring an unreleased version of the 'Kiss And Make Up' demo - Photographs, original press releases and cards featuring the Foxbase Alpha album artwork
