TODDLA T asks two legends of the underground scene in Sheffield, ROSS OTON and DJ PIPES, to shake, destroy, and then rebuild his album in the same style that has shaped his sound universe. A renowned designer, DJ, and player in the underground music scene of Sheffield for over a decade, PIPES is TODDLA's main source of inspiration. As for ORTON, in addition to his contributions to TODDLA's records, he has been part of FAT TRUCKERS, was the drummer for JARVIS CROKER, and produced MIA's track, "Galang." He has also remixed and produced many notable artists, from the KILLS to KELIS, including TINCHY STRYDER and the ARCTIC MONKEYS. The duo has thus taken TODDLA T's album "Watch Me Dance" and remixed it with the sounds of Sheffield's bass culture. A reworking of the original album worthy of the "Steel City," venturing further and much more coherent than a simple series of unrelated remixes.
