Rose Tattoo is the first self-titled album by the Australian hard rock band Rose Tattoo, released in 1978. It was produced by the famous team Vanda & Young, best known for their work with AC/DC. The album was released under the name Rock 'n' Roll Outlaw (or Rock 'n' Roll Outlaws) in some markets. After an extended tour, "Rock n'Roll Outlaw" began to chart in Europe, reaching number 2 in France, number 5 in Germany, and number 60 in the United Kingdom. The song "Nice Boys" was covered by Guns N'Roses in 1986 on their album Live ?! *@ Like a Suicide EP, which was later reissued on their 1988 EP G N'R Lies. Axl Rose and Izzy Stradlin both stated that Rose Tattoo changed their lives and confirmed to them that their own future was in rock 'n' roll. "Nice Boys" was also covered by the punk band Nashville Pussy.
