Assault & Battery is the second studio album by the Australian hard rock band Rose Tattoo, released in 1981. Like the first album, it was produced by the famous team Vanda & Young. The Tatts play an unmatched heavy blues, urban level, with an emphasis on slide guitar and piercing lyrics. After years of touring in Australia, Europe, and America opening for artists like ZZ Top and Aerosmith, the band began to write and record their second studio album, Assault & Battery. It includes fan favorite songs: “Out Of This Place” & “Rock n Roll Is King” & “Suicide City.” The album is recognized for its “hard as nails” approach, unreserved, described as a blend of AC/DC's power-chord style with a faster, punk intensity.
