TRAXROMARE is a young musician, straight from England, where he was once a student in African American Visual Culture. Collage inspired the young man to apply a similar technique to music - an approach that has been greatly successful and remains central to his work today. After working as a drummer and guitarist, he lived in Paris, where he bought his first turntables and began mixing his own music with samples from second-hand albums. It was there that his vision was born, giving rise to his first EP "Meditations on Afrocentrism" released by the Black Acre label in 2012, adding him to a formidable list that already includes Loops Haunt, Fantastic Mr Fox, Blue Daisy, and Dark Sky. With the support of Benji B, Gilles Peterson, and Huw Stephens, ROMARE's music has rightly already caused a stir. The stage is now set for his impressive debut album, Projections.
