This sixth solo album by Rodolphe Burger follows *Good*, and the extensive tour that ensued, which concluded with the release of the double album *Good Alive*. This record, presented by Rodolphe Burger as the "freest" of his career, was recorded in his Klein Leberau studio located in Sainte-Marie-Aux-Mines in Alsace, with Christophe Calpini and Sarah Murcia, companions from his last *Good* tour, and mixed by Luc Tytgat, Kat Onoma's "historical" engineer. The album features fourteen tracks, including four covers: Sam Cooke's "Lost and Lookin'", Grant Lee Buffalo's "Fuzzy", The Jamaicans' "Ba Ba Boum", and Can's "Mushroom". From rock steady to Schubert – of whom Burger also sings two lieder from *Winterreise* – this album holds nothing back, guided only by a principle of pure pleasure. For this free musical journey, Rodolphe Burger invited several guests, including Bertrand Belin for two tracks, the young band Grimaçe to revisit Can, the voices of Julia Dorner and Hugues Reip, and musician friends Arnaud Dieterlen and Philippe Poirier. The album concludes with a duet version of Kat Onoma's "La Chambre" featuring singer Christophe.
