Son Be Wise

*Son Be Wise* is the fourth album from the British band Ralfe Band, led by Oly Ralfe. After writing a brilliant soundtrack for Paul King's film *Bunny and the Bull*, the band delivers a balanced mix of smooth indie ballads and epic folk, all enhanced by breathtaking instrumentation and piano parts. The album is the result of recordings in multiple studios: one part was produced by Rob Ellis (PJ Harvey, Anna Calvi) in Wales, another by Andy Ramsay (of Stereolab) in South London, and finally, the band retreated to the Oxfordshire countryside. Movement is a source of inspiration for Oly, who states: "I've been very nomadic in recent years, writing songs as I moved from one place to another. Discovering different places makes me feel alive and brings my ideas to the surface."
