After a self-titled debut album released in 2011 and months of touring in the United States, the trio decided to return to Brooklyn to lock themselves in Mexican Summer studios, recording this new album with the help of Jarvis Taveniere (Woods). They recount their stories and tour memories, inviting friends to play saxophone and violin. Held In Splendor was thus created with many hands, crafting bold pop made of cascades of harmonies, percussive rhythms, and ticklish guitars. "A delicate record like the Paisley Underground gems of yesteryear that one would listen to while sipping Darjeeling tea." Rock & Folk
