After a silence lasting 5 years, Purity Ring announces the release of their third album Womb, scheduled for April 3, 2020 via 4AD.Previously described as "Lustrous Synth Pop plus Cavernous Hip Hop" by Rolling Stones on their previous album Another Eternity, Purity Ring's music had won everyone over from their first album Shrines in 2012.Entirely written, produced, and recorded by the duo formed by Megan James and Corin Roddick, WOMB is intended as a chronicle of the quest for an ideal comfort and the search for a refuge in a world that escapes our control.
