Four years after the release of their last album Every Valley, the London-based alternative rock & electronica group Public Service Broadcasting is back with their fourth studio album titled Bright Magic set to be released on September 24 via Play It Again Sam. This three-part album (Building A City / Building A Myth / Bright Magic) is their most ambitious project to date. It takes you to the heart of Europe and its de facto capital, the cultural and political metropolis that is Berlin. Although the blend of electronics and guitar rock remains familiar to PSB, Bright Magic primarily uses samples and the English language sparingly. It differs from previous albums in other ways: less linear and narrative, it is more of an impressionistic portrait of the city of Berlin.
