Thirty years after the release of the album "Parce-que," a record that marked the meeting of Daniel Darc and Bill Pritchard, Frédéric Lo and the "J.D. Salinger of pop music" have decided to reunite in the studio to write, compose, produce, and create an album together: "Rendez-vous Streets." "Rendez-vous Streets" is neither a sequel nor a tribute to their former partner. It is indeed an album of original compositions, the result of a 'late' meeting between these two artists with many commonalities. "Rendez-vous Streets" is a pop music record in the noble sense of the term. It features catchy songs and melodies that stick in your head from the very first listens. The album showcases the songwriting, production, and creative talent of Frédéric Lo (Daniel Darc, Alain Chamfort, Alex Beaupain…) and the legendary songwriting skills of Bill Pritchard. This album also marks a first collaboration with long-time friend Étienne Daho, on a Velvet-made single: "Luck." Less than a year after the remarkable and acclaimed return of Frédéric Lo with his third solo album "Hallelujah!" (an album praised by critics: Télérama, Les Inrocks, Magic, Le Monde, Le Parisien…), and Bill Pritchard's album "Midland lullabies," "Rendez-vous Streets" drives the point home with a terribly endearing pop record, embodied by two artists determined to live in the present and finally reveal to a wider audience their undeniable talent as modern cult pop artists. "Remember, in 1988, Daniel Darc and Bill Pritchard established a cross-Channel tunnel by releasing a magnificent album with two voices, "Parce que," named after a song by Aznavour. Thirty-one years after this timeless masterpiece (which was extensively reissued last year), the English songwriter joins forces with the producer of "Crèvecœur" (2004) for a four-handed album that will be one of the must-see events of the fall.
