Vinyl reissue of Porcupine Tree's debut album, originally released in 1991.
Porcupine Tree’s debut album, On The Sunday Of Life, originally released in 1991, is a modern day pop-psych classic.
With acid-distorted lyrics courtesy of Alan Duffy (the brains behind the late Imaginary Records label), the album is a surreal delight containing gems such as "Jupiter Island" and "Linton Samuel Dawson" full of bizarre melodies, effected vocals, and reversed guitars. "Nine Cats," the album's undisputed masterpiece, is pure Edward Lear psychedelia.
