With it, we find the mystical and choleric frontman Black Francis, David Lovering (drums), Joey Santiago (guitar) and especially Paz Lenchantin (bass and vocals) who joined the adventure in 2014 after the hurried departure of Kim Deal. Producing Head Carrier was a way for the band to turn a new page, to mark a real change. Recorded in just three weeks, the album has the sonic characteristics of a triumphant future PIXIES album: abundant guitar riffs, harmonies combined with rhythmic hammering, intriguing lyrics.
