Released in 1977, *Rough Mix* is a collaboration with Small Faces bassist Ronnie Lane. This album contains songs written by Townshend and Lane in a vein closer to the British folk-rock style of the early 1970s, as well as contributions from John Entwistle, Eric Clapton, Boz Burrell, and Charlie Watt.
