Released in autumn 2021, the album Après les Heures Grises by Pauline Croze is a more personal adventure than ever. This record, an important step in the artist's career, shakes up both substance and form. She reveals a more modern and lively style, blending the pop of her beginnings with current urban sounds. On this album, Pauline learned to work alone and remotely. As the producer of her music, less raw, freer and more subversive than ever, Pauline did not hesitate to split herself in two to step outside herself and embody multiple roles, surrounding herself with inspired and talented young directors. Thus we find Fils Cara, Nk.F (Damso, Orelsan), Romain Guerret (Aline, Alex Rossi), Mathieu Denis, Tim Dup, Charlie Trimbur (Eddy de Pretto), Patrick Devin (Phoenix, Lomepal), and Alf Briat. The result is a perfect balance between the charm of Pauline Croze's early steps and her passion for the dynamism of the new French scene. The only constants: the grace and subtlety that continue to adorn her voice. The album cover was created by illustrator Joann Sfar.
