Released in the autumn of 2021, Pauline Croze's album *Après les Heures Grises* is a more personal journey than ever before. This album, a significant step in the artist's career, shakes up both content and form. She reveals a more modern and vibrant style, blending the pop of her early days with current urban sounds. For this album, Pauline learned to work alone and remotely. Producing her own music, less raw, more free and subversive than ever, Pauline did not hesitate to split herself into multiple roles to step outside herself and embody various characters, surrounding herself with inspired and talented young producers. These include Fils Cara, Nk.F (Damso, Orelsan), Romain Guerret (Aline, Alex Rossi), Mathieu Denis, Tim Dup, Charlie Trimbur (Eddy de Pretto), Patrick Devin (Phoenix, Lomepal), and Alf Briat. The result is a perfect balance between the charm of Pauline Croze's early work and her passion for the dynamism of the new French music scene. The only constants: the grace and subtlety that continue to adorn her voice. The album cover was created by cartoonist Joann Sfar.
