Not God is the new album from the two-headed monster of Chicago alt rock, Finom (formerly Ohmme). Led by Sima Cunningham and Macie Stewart, Finom has vast and varied influences, placing great importance on change. Produced by Jeff Tweedy in the Wilco loft, Not God is a marvel of growth, a progression from the roots of this collaborative group whose history can be traced back to its improvised conception. This is largely due to their hometown of Chicago, the lifeboat for so many persevering in musical adventurism. This energy, combined with Finom's spectacular vocal and musical gifts, places them on the periphery of the legacies cemented by The Roches, Roxy Music, the B52s, Kate Bush, Cate Le Bon, and Wilco.
