Bed & Bugs

Description

Although the New York band OBITS has only been together since 2007, it is made up of seasoned musicians: RICK FROBERG (DRIVE LIKE JEHU, HOT SNAKES), SOHRAB HABIBION (EDSEL), SCOTT GURSKY (SHORTSTACK) and GREG SIMPSON. After the success of “I Blame You,” album of the month in Rock n' Folk when it was released, and a second equally explosive album, they are releasing their third album “Bed & Bugs,” still as devoted to the cause of rock n' roll. For their latest release, OBITS draw their influences from surf and garage, flirt with the punk rock of WIPERS and offer a new sonic experience. 12 tracks for a turbulent journey to the far reaches of indie rock and garage punk, witness to an epic guitar duel (FROBERG and HABIBION), overseen by SIMPSON’s perfectly judged bass and driven by GURSKY’s devilish drumming.
