Even though the New York band OBITS has only been around since 2007, it's made up of seasoned musicians: RICK FROBERG (DRIVE LIKE JEHU, HOT SNAKES), SOHRAB HABIBION (EDSEL), SCOTT GURSKY (SHORTSTACK) and GREG SIMPSON. After the success of "I Blame You," which was Rock n' Folk's album of the month upon its release, and an equally explosive second album, they're releasing their third album, "Bed & Bugs," still dedicated to the cause of rock n' roll. For their latest effort, OBITS draw their influences from surf and garage, flirt with the punk rock of WIPERS, and offer a new sonic experience. 12 tracks for a wild journey to the confines of indie rock and garage punk, bearing witness to an epic duel between guitarists (FROBERG and HABIBION), arbitrated by SIMPSON's perfectly precise bass, and driven by GURSKY's devilish drumming.
