LE GROUPE EST NÉ DES CENDRES DE PANICO, GROUPE POSTPUNK CHILIEN Powerful, hypnotic, and original, the music of Nova Materia incorporates unheard sounds generated by raw and mineral materials (metal, stones) to create a universe that is both hyper-rhythmic and dreamlike, at the crossroads of post-punk rock and electronics, which already captivates both festivals and clubs as well as the world of visual arts and performance. Nova Materia is the duo formed by the French Caroline Chaspoulet and the Chilean Eduardo Henriquez. The group was born three years ago from the ashes of Panico, a Chilean post-punk band with which Caroline and Eduardo traveled the planet and released several albums. After two EPs produced notably in collaboration with Chloé, Nova Materia thus joins artists such as Acid Arab, Konono N°1, Aquaserge, Juana Molina, Yasmine Hamdan, and Matias Aguayo within the roster of Crammed Discs.
