N.O.W is the time

Warp Records is proud to announce the release of N.O.W Is The Time, a double album compilation by Nightmares On Wax, celebrating 7 albums and 25 years of N.O.W.'s career. George Evelyn emerged on the British B-Boy and graffiti scene under the name DJ E.A.S.E in the 1980s. Influenced by New York hip hop, he combined his aesthetic with the popular sounds of the time in England to arrive at what would later be called trip hop. After recording the classics Smokers Delight and Carboot Soul, and working with De La Soul and The Roots, N.O.W. established himself as a reference in hip hop, funk, dub, and soul. Note that the vinyl boxset edition: N.O.W Is The Time: Deep Down Edition includes a 2xLP, two CDs of unreleased tracks and remixes (Ashley Beedle, LFO, Loco Dice...) as well as a book recounting the key events of N.O.W.'s career, interviews, photos, etc.
