Collector vinyl edition, 28-page comic book, Illustrated by Stéphane Zimmerli/Moriarty + Unique Collector Envelope* (*each envelope contains 3 travel souvenirs collected over 10 years by Moriarty) After a month and a half touring Germany for the album's release, Moriarty returns to France for 50 new dates by March, bringing with them new projects, each as astonishing as the last. MORIARTY: A leaderless band with no manager, songs written by 5x2 hands + ghosts. 70.34 tracks written since the beginning, exploring utopias, illusions of broken love, and Mah-jong. 2007: Release of "Gee Whiz But This Is A Lonesome Town," an album whose title comes from an antique postcard found on a roadside in Connecticut. 2011 (1): New recordings, produced by our drummer, Vincent Talpaert (Don Cavalli, Mustang), after composing and refining the tracks on stage. Some rules for staying alive: songs played all together in the same room (without headphones); only 1 edit allowed per track; no digital effects. 2011 (2): April 25th, release of the record on AIR RYTMO (an anagrammatic label of Moriarty / l'Autre Distribution). The unique collector envelopes: 2,000 collector envelopes were made by Moriarty (here, Rosemary). Tour souvenirs, fragments of life moments collected over the years. These envelopes will each contain 3 different and unique objects: from Stéphane Zimmerli / Moriarty's drawing to the evening's show setlist drawn on a paper tablecloth from a restaurant. These will always be unique objects and testimonials to Moriarty's journey. Good luck. We hope you find the envelope that inspires you the most.
