FUGITIVES (2 vinyls) (nouvelle édition)

Description

Before Dylan, before Robert Zimmermann, there were the ancestors, songwriters & bluesmen by the names of Woody Guthrie, Hank Williams, Mississippi John Hurt, Blind Willie Mc Tell... there were also songs passed down by ear from generation to generation, without anyone being able to trace their author or exact origin. Haunted by these ghosts and in the company of a few connoisseurs - Wayne Standley, Don Cavalli, Moriba Koïta & Mama Rosin - we plunged into this not-so-distant past to bring back this collection of songs that are both archaic and modern, which together tell a story of love and abandonment, seduction and addiction, crimes of passion, revenge and flights forward.
