Full Time Hobby is happy to have signed singer-songwriter MICHAEL NAU for his first solo album. And for good reason, critically acclaimed in the United States earlier this year, the album 'Mowing' is now being released in the UK and Europe. This version will also contain new artwork, the 12 original tracks, as well as the brand new single completely Lee Hazlewood-esque, 'Love Survive', featuring backing vocals by Michael's wife and Whitney McGraw, a member of his bandPage France. 'Mowing' evokes the sound of old radios: timeless standards, old Nashville country, 70s chamber pop, and dusty folk songs. With nothing more than an acoustic guitar and a modestly hummed refrain, the opening track 'While you stand' resembles a charming ray of sunshine coming through the kitchen window on a Sunday morning. On the rest of 'Mowing', you can hear MICHAEL NAU's alluring musical experiments - the bossa nova cadence of 'Smooth Aisles', the hazy instrumental lounge of 'Mow', or the baroque pop of 'Winter Beat'.
