Mecano was a Spanish pop group, considered a pioneer of techno-pop, new wave, and synth-pop in Spain. The group was active mainly between 1981 and 1992. The group was composed of singer Ana Torroja (with her incredible voice recognizable from the first words) and the Cano brothers, Nacho and José Maria Cano.
