Liturgy of Death

Description

The most influential Black Metal band of all time is back with its 7th studio album: Liturgy of Death. Liturgy of Death serves as a long-awaited celebration of the band’s 40th anniversary, tracing its legacy since its formation in Oslo in 1984, and reaffirming its status as a pioneering force on the global black metal scene. Liturgy of Death offers more than 45 minutes of music in its standard editions, and over 58 minutes in the limited and exclusive versions. The band drew worldwide attention thanks to Jonas Akerlund’s film, Lords of Chaos, with Rory Culkin, as well as the sons of Val Kilmer, Wilson Gonzalez Ochsenknecht, and Stellan Skarsgård. Premiered at Sundance in 2018, this film brought the story of Mayhem into the mainstream spotlight. 180g colored vinyl Gatefold exclusive limited edition for France (with 12-page LP-sized booklet)
