Description

One might think that a guy like Butch Walker (producer/songwriter for artists such as Pink, Fall Out Boy, Avril Lavigne, Weezer, Green Day, Katy Perry, and Taylor Swift) wouldn't be particularly unlucky in love, but on Readysexgo, the torture never stops, as Butch recounts one failed affair after another with extremely painful details. All of this is set to the catchy power pop/glam metal style of Marvelous 3, often flowing seamlessly from one song to the next... Readysexgo is the upbeat soundtrack to the love life of a somewhat bitter but desperate romantic. We worked with the band to create a special edition for the very first vinyl release of the album at Music Retail, adding the non-LP track "Fastboat" as well as two covers from the album sessions, one of "Always Something There to Remind Me" by Naked Eyes, and one of "Reelin' in the Years" by Steely Dan, which appeared in Jim Carrey's film.
