With their second album together, the duo Lanegan - Garwood once again proves their musical complementarity! Heavenly Recordings is proud to announce With Animals, the second album from Mark Lanegan & Duke Garwood, which will be released on August 24th. The album's twelve tracks are spectral and muscular, often defined by the space between sounds. A ghostly hiss snakes around the pulse of a single note on 'Lonesome Infidel'; the unfortunate tale of 'Feast To Famine' floats on a guitar with so much distortion it's barely recognizable. Over the past decade, Lanegan and Garwood have released the album Black Pudding (2013) together and worked on Mark Lanegan's solo albums (Garwood contributed to Blues Funeral (2012) and Gargoyle (2017), for which he also participated in the tour). The writing and recording took place in the studio and by sharing music between Garwood's home in London and Lanegan's in Los Angeles. Technology made the transatlantic duo's work relatively easy.
