Marta is an alien from Poison Paradise, a distant planet overrun with mosquitoes. For several years, she has been on a mission near the Moon, where she spends her free time photographing komatiites, precious stones that move slowly across the lunar surface at dusk. But when an asteroid strikes her ship, she is forced to make an emergency landing on an unknown planet: Terra. There, she discovers humans, their conflicts and wars, but also their arts. This unexpected encounter marks the beginning of a learning process: throughout her journey, Marta will gradually learn to become human. Throughout the album, Marta crosses paths with several communities called Okas: the Archos and the Exos. Each possesses particular gifts. The Archos, through the power of mind and their rituals, are capable of causing flowers to bloom, while the Exos, through dance, can rise into the air like birds. These encounters disrupt her perception and nourish her own journey. The album concludes with a symbolic ascent. In the track "Night at the Embassy", Marta rises alongside the Archos and Exos, taking a decisive step in her quest for humanity. This musical narrative, a cosmic fable and an initiatory journey, stages a metamorphosis guided by the discovery of others and the power of the arts.
