Originaire de Sao Paulo, LUISA MAITA is cradled by the music of BILLIE HOLIDAY, SHIRLEY HORN, BETTY CARTER, CHET BAKER, AND RAY CHARLES. She truly launches her career at 26 with the help of BETO VILLARES, a Brazilian producer with a very electro touch. After recording an album with the group URBANDA in 2004, LUISA MAITA decides to record her 1st album, filled with the warm rhythms of Brazil and rich in personal influences. Accompanied by her faithful accomplice RODRIGO CAMPOS, she manages to create a terribly endearing sound, served by a sensual and original voice.
