A concise and effective album: with the Danes of LLNN, we navigate through darkness and enjoy playing with atmospheres. Like this devastated artwork, LLNN perfectly conveys desolation on Deads, in a science fiction ambiance (in a sort of Total Recall universe) beautifully crafted, particularly thanks to the recurring use of synths that sound like threatening brass instruments. Adding to this are unsettling noises and a devilishly heavy atmosphere, to say the least, we are clearly in suffocating territory.
