With their new team and new album "Maîtres Chansonniers," Les Garçons Trottoirs are taking on a major challenge: updating their music while preserving the essentials that define them—friendship, freedom, and good humor. This album, for the first time entirely composed, written, and performed by the four musicians, takes us aboard an astonishing vessel, sailing from style to style and carrying French chanson across its own borders. Les Garçons Trottoirs is a French group from Strasbourg founded in August 2006. Trained in street music, these "pavement musicians" share a common desire to use only their voices and acoustic instruments, sometimes amplified for indoor concerts. Their festive music oscillates between chanson, pop, blues, and rock'n'roll, with eclectic French lyrics. This new album is their 4th. The previous one was released in April 2017 already!
