ESPECES MENACEES

Description

It is on February 21 that the 9th album by Fatals Picards, Espèces Menacées, will be reissued on transparent yellow vinyl, limited edition, to celebrate the band’s 25th anniversary. With Espèces Menacées, the French band proudly and loudly defends this trilogy that suits them like a glove: rock, humor, and French chanson. Rock for the raw energy their performances give off. Humor so as not to forget that life is far too serious a thing to be entrusted to sad people. And French chanson out of love for a language that every good rebellious Gaul worth his salt must defend body and soul, in defiance of danger and the death of the past subjunctive. Espèces Menacées is an opportunity to reflect with a twist on the impact of dietary restrictions in a couple’s life, revolutionary life after the death of ideals, the boom in medieval festivals in France, 80s X-rated films, or even the collusion between business and terrorism in a Middle Eastern setting It is now time to proclaim it loud and clear: Les Fatals Picards wrote rock history!!! Yes, well, in very small letters with an HB pencil in the boys’ toilets at Pierre Brossolette middle school in Le Perreux-sur-Marne, and that was a long time ago
