L.A.B.'s groove is an eclectic, catchy, and laid-back blend of reggae, pop, blues, rock, soul, and funk with electronic influences, all combining to create a sound that is uniquely their own. L.A.B., comprised of former members of Kora and Katchafire, has become a mainstay of the New Zealand music scene, with 5 albums in the past 5 years, all achieving at least platinum status, dominating national singles and album charts, radio playlists, awards shows, and sales statistics on DSP platforms. L.A.B. has also made a name for itself on stages across Australasia (and recently the USA), and has been voted New Zealand's best live band two years in a row. It was high time these 5 musicians showcased themselves in Europe. On October 5th, their European premiere will take place at Paradiso in Amsterdam (already sold out!), and a week later, they will perform at the O2 Forum in London. Early next spring, they will release their new album, "VI", which will be supported by additional European concerts.
