After the Spanish escapade 'Teatro Lucido' and the sweet getaway 'Paris Hawai', the band created by Marlon Magnée and Sacha Got continues its world tour with 'Rock Machine', their first album written in English. Composed over the past few years during various tours around the world, this new LP was heavily inspired by the sequence of dates in the USA, Canada, South America, and Australia, as well as the encounters that followed. La Femme returns to its first loves of new wave and synth wave from 'Psycho Tropical Berlin', merging it with an Anglo-Saxon rock sound from the 80s and 90s. This album is an ode to rock'n'roll, to its effectiveness and timelessness, but also to love and despair. La Femme continues to develop with Rock Machine a universe beyond trends and multidimensional, with its own sound and aesthetic. In addition to rock and synthwave sounds (of which Clover Paradise is a perfect example), there are still elements of electro (Sweet Babe), surf music (Ciao Paris), UK punk disco (My Generation), westerns, and ballads. "Vénus" is an irresistible and intoxicating meeting between the Velvet Underground and The Mamas and the Papas, while "Love is Over" sounds like a Madchester band from the 80s playing at the Hacienda… The list is long but always unique and coherent.
