Big Black Coat

Description

Admired by Dan Snaith (Caribou), the Canadian duo JUNIOR BOYS signs with City Slang after 3 albums for Domino. For about ten years, Jeremy Greespan and Matt Didemus have helped shape modern electronic music: somewhere between electro pop and RnB influences. They bring to mind Hot Chip thanks to their disconcerting ease at making electro music into pop anthems. On Big Black Coat, the techno sounds with Richie Hawtin influences are more present, more minimal but even more effective. Without a doubt, JUNIOR BOYS deliver their best album.
