Ekstasis

Description

They are not many the records that manage to move you enough to shake up the ideas you had so far about art, music, or life in general. Clearly, we are in the presence of such a record with Ekstasis. Remaining on the threshold of abstraction, Ekstasis maintains a great coherence even as it is crossed by references and eclectic sounds: electro-acoustic or medieval nursery rhymes flirting with classical music, serial music swept away by analog tsunamis, synthetic waves, or free jazz dissonances (“Four Gardens”), fairy-like tracks far exceeding the indie framework.
