Surrounded by Winton Kelly, Paul Chambers, and Jimmy Cobb, and joined by notable guests Stan Getz and Oscar Peterson, Coltrane delivers an incandescent performance, at the crossroads of hard bop and the beginnings of his sonic revolution.
