It may be one of the gems in the history of jazz recordings, the John Coltrane Quartet featuring McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison, and Elvin Jones with guest Eric Dolphy. This is the John Coltrane Quartet at its peak, with Elvin Jones once again confirming his status as one of the greatest drummers of all time.
