Description

The first album by Joe Jackson, Look Sharp, released in 1979, entered the English and American charts upon its release, allowing him to win his first gold record.
After two new wave pop albums, Joe turned to more jazzy arrangements and thus signed his biggest commercial success with the hits "Steppin' Out" and "Breaking Us In Two". Fully embracing his attraction to jazz, he later (in 1984) released three successful singles "Happy Ending" with Elaine Caswell, "Be My Number Two" and "You Can't Get What You Want".
In 1989, Blaze of Glory was released, a semi-autobiographical album including his last true pop hit "Nineteen Forever". Finally, in 1991, Joe Jackson dedicated himself to more complex, serious productions, among which we can highlight the fabulous "Stranger Than Fiction".
Collected is a collection of unreleased tracks tracing the different phases of Joe Jackson's career, a must-have for any respectable pop record collection!
