In the shadow of Syd Barrett, Ray Davies, Kevin Ayers, David Bowie, and the Sparks, Jeffrey Novak is a true chameleon of rock's undergrowth, playing on the edge of imitation and homage to his strong influences. Composed and recorded primarily on piano in Jay Reatard's studio, who would pass away a few months later. Jay recorded, produced, and played (guitar & vocals) on the album.
