Description

Vibrance, the first album in the Festival de Rocamadour collection. The millennial city of Rocamadour, rich in history and musical heritage, has inspired many composers such as Francis Poulenc. On the occasion of the 7th anniversary of the inauguration of the instrument designed by organ builder Jean Daldosso, the album Vibrance, performed by Emmeran Rollin, features five works by Johann Sebastian Bach. The selected repertoire is particularly suited to the specific characteristics of the Grand Orgue de Rocamadour. Indeed, Jean Daldosso designed an instrument inspired by the long Germanic tradition and its solid baroque musical heritage. As a result, Bach's works provide the performer with the opportunity to explore the majority of the instrument's technical possibilities and to showcase its entire expressive range.
