The Swedish pianist Jan Lundgren and the Brazilian guitarist Yamandu Costa may seem like an unlikely duo, as the combination of guitar and piano is a delicate one. However, their affinity and chemistry are truly exceptional. Yamandu Costa plays with elegance, harmonic fluidity, and a deep knowledge of Latin American music. For his part, Jan Lundgren has made a major contribution to European jazz over the past two decades, notably through his role in the Mare Nostrum trio.
