Jah Cure is one of the most influential artists in today's Reggae. An urban poet, he is capable of chaining together both protest lyrics about the social situation in his country and romantic ballads, always full of hope, with immense talent and a golden voice. This new album signed on the VP Records Label demonstrates that he is the direct descendant of the greatest Roots Reggae artists of the 70s. This new album follows "Royal Soldier," released in 2019, which had met with great success. 9th album since his debut in 2000. Jah Cure was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica; he was discovered by Sizzla and Capleton, who saw in him the perfect embodiment of the New Roots singer. Unfortunately, just as his career was about to start, in 1998 he was sentenced to 15 years in prison. It was behind bars that he produced his most beautiful tracks with singer-producer Beres Hammond, who truly launched his career. He has been supported by many prestigious artists such as Sizzla, Capleton, Jah Mason, and Buju Banton, and was released in 2007 after 8 years of incarceration. He has since established himself as the spearhead of the New Roots generation!
