Jah Cure is one of the most influential artists in today's Reggae scene. An urban poet, he is capable of delivering both protest lyrics about the social situation in his country and romantic ballads, always filled with hope, immense talent, and a golden voice. This new album, released on the VP Records label, demonstrates that he is a direct descendant of the greatest Roots Reggae artists of the 70s. This new album follows "The Cure," which was released in 2015 and achieved great success. Jah Cure was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and was discovered by Sizzla and Capleton, who saw in him the perfect embodiment of the New Roots singer. Unfortunately, just as his career was about to take off, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison in 1998. It was behind bars that he produced some of his finest tracks with singer-producer Beres Hammond, who truly launched his career. He has been supported by many prestigious artists such as Sizzla, Capleton, Jah Mason, and Buju Banton, and was released in 2007 after 8 years of incarceration.
